Where we are recruiting

We have around 40 to 50 families fostering in Kent, London and Essex. We are always looking for new foster carers who live in these specific areas or within a close distance, with the skills, experience and motivation to work with vulnerable and traumatised children.

This is because we are better able and equipped to support fostering families in areas where our practitioners already work; it's also easier to buddy foster carers up with each other and provide respite care (read more about this in Carer Support).

Do you live in these areas?

We always want to hear from families and individuals interested in becoming foster carers in Kent, London or Essex. We are currently seeking foster carers in the following areas, to meet the specific needs of the local authorities we work with:

  • South London:
    • Greenwich
    • Bromley
    • Lewisham
    • Croydon
    • Woolwich
    • Bexley
    • Lambeth
  • North and East London:
    • Islington
    • Haringey
    • Enfield
    • Waltham Forest
    • Redbridge
    • Barking & Dagenham
    • Havering
  • Kent and Medway:
    • Dartford
    • Gravesend
    • Medway towns

We are especially looking for potential foster families interested in caring for these types of children and young people:

  • Teenagers with challenging behaviours
  • Children with complex health needs and learning difficulties
  • Sibling groups who need to stay together
  • Young mums (and expectant mums) and their babies

If you are interested in fostering, please contact Jo Dennis for an initial chat or complete and send us your Apply to Foster form here.

Transferring to Kasper

At Kasper Fostering we understand that not all organisations suit everybody. We are sometimes contacted by foster parents from other fostering agencies and Local Authorities who wish to transfer to us.

There is a strict protocol to follow in this process, if you are thinking about moving to a new fostering agency. We have provided further information in our Become a Carer website section - click here to read about Transferring.
