Thinking of Moving Agencies?

At Kasper we understand that the decision to change agencies can be a difficult one with lots to consider. As a small independent agency we are well placed to offer the care and support you need on an individual level to ensure a smooth transition to us.

Why Transfer to Kasper?

Choosing to become a foster carer is about making a life‑changing difference and you deserve an agency that goes above and beyond to do the same for you. We take the time to truly get to know you, offering the dedicated guidance and genuine community you have been looking for.

Foster carers deserve to feel:

  • Supported
  • Heard
  • Valued
  • Part of a wider family

A passion for supporting young people and a desire to provide a safe, loving home often sits at the heart of fostering. Many of the children in care have experienced trauma, and with the right support, they can begin to heal, grow, thrive and become the person they are meant to be.

At Kasper, we think that too and as a small, dedicated team, our approach is to go above and beyond expectations, supporting not only foster carers, but their families and the children in their care.

Supervising social workers have small caseloads, allowing strong, meaningful relationships to develop. Ongoing support and advice are always available, alongside guidance when working with placing local authorities.

Support doesn’t stop outside office hours. The 24-hour helpline is staffed by the same experienced social work team, ensuring that whenever support is needed, a familiar voice is there, someone who understands each individual situation and more importantly, who knows you and the children in your care.

As an independent fostering agency, careful thought is given to matching. The placements team shares detailed information about children needing homes, helping to ensure the right fit for both the child and you, as the fostering family. The focus is always on what will work best for everyone involved, believing that it has to be right for the child and it has to be right for you.

Ongoing development is equally important. Comprehensive training programmes and continuous learning opportunities help build confidence and skills, making a real difference when supporting children who have experienced trauma and abuse.

If you think Kasper may be the right fit for you and offer the support that you have perhaps been missing, get in touch. We would love to hear from you to chat through your lived experience. Let’s see what we can do together.

Hear from Susan & David who transferred to us

While they initially found a fostering agency whose ethos they valued, the experience became uncomfortable after the company was taken over. Following recommendations from friends, they moved to Kasper. The transition was easy and supported, and they immediately felt our agency genuinely prioritised children.
