Community Events at Kasper Fostering
Celebrating connection, shared experiences and our fostering communit
Coming together as a community
At Kasper Fostering, our community events are an important part of the support and sense of belonging we aim to create for foster carers, children and young people. They provide opportunities to meet other fostering families, enjoy new experiences and build lasting connections in a relaxed and welcoming setting.
From celebrations and seasonal gatherings to theatre trips, sports and outdoor adventures, each event gives our community valuable time to connect, have fun and make memories together. Here are some of the moments we have shared across 2025 and 2026.
Achievement Ceremony 2025
Sports Day 2025
Our 2025 Sports Day brought everyone outdoors for a day of friendly activities, teamwork and plenty of encouragement. It was a relaxed occasion for children, young people, carers and the Kasper team to have fun together and enjoy being part of the wider community.
Halloween 2025
Halloween gave our community another reason to get creative and spend time together. With seasonal decorations, costumes, treats and activities, the gathering was full of fun and offered families the chance to make happy memories in a welcoming environment.
Quex Park 2025
Our festive visit to Quex Park was filled with lights, seasonal characters and winter activities. From exploring the illuminated displays to enjoying time on the ice, it was a memorable evening and a lovely way for the Kasper fostering community to celebrate the season together.
SIX – Theatre Trip
A trip to see SIX gave members of our fostering community the opportunity to enjoy a brilliant live theatre experience together. Shared outings like this create time away from everyday routines, introduce new experiences and give everyone something special to talk about afterwards.
Easter 2026
Our Easter gathering combined outdoor fun, seasonal activities and time together. The garden was ready for exploring, while creative activities and an Easter egg hunt helped make the day enjoyable for children, young people, carers and the Kasper team.
Fostering Fortnight Lunch 2026
During Fostering Fortnight, we brought members of our community together over lunch. It was a chance to recognise the important contribution of foster carers, strengthen relationships and enjoy relaxed conversation with people who share an understanding of fostering.
St Andrews Lakes 2026
Our visit to St Andrews Lakes offered an exciting day by the water, with the inflatable aqua park providing plenty of activity and adventure. It was another opportunity to try something different, build confidence and enjoy a shared experience with the Kasper community.
Stubbers 2026
The trip to Stubbers brought a mix of outdoor challenges and group activities, including time on the water and archery. Experiences like these encourage teamwork, confidence and participation, while giving children, young people and carers an enjoyable day together.
More than a day out
These events are about much more than the activity itself. They help foster carers and families feel connected to a wider network, give children and young people opportunities to share positive experiences, and allow relationships to grow naturally over time. We look forward to creating many more moments together with the Kasper fostering community.
